We walked around the world - really we did!!

Ages ago Mimi asked Mummy and Daddy how many days it takes to walk around the world. Sooo we looked up the answer on the internet and Mummy asked us to do a presentation about it.

In school-time we also worked out how many days it would take US to walk around the world - this was very tricky for me and Mimi and also very tricky for Mummy. We had to use a calculator and everything!!

Some people in the community had guessed how many days it would take to walk round the world so we found out who was closest and invited everyone to see our presentation so we could tell them and give out the prize. Markus's guess was nearest so we gave him some chocolate money.

Last weekend when Daddy was away we did our own walk around the world. We took the atlas and had to work out which country we were going to next. We went through loads of countries, saw all sorts of animals, said hello to our friends in New Zealand and Mexico and even had a picnic in India! It was so much fun, but I was really tired at the end - I have only got little legs!!

Back home and it's cold!!

I can't believe we've only been back home 2 weeks! When we were at Nana's I didn't want to come home, but actually it's been brilliant. Here are some of the things we've been up to:

Egg Cracking!

Hooray, it's Easter!

Because it was Easter we dyed some eggs with some dye. We tipped the dye into a pan of hot water. We put the eggs gently in the pan and boiled them. When they came out of the pan they were dyed in colours. Did you do all of that?

Our Spring Walk

  Last week we went to look for flowers because it was nearly Spring. Yippee!!!

I (mimi) saw the bluebell first in the ground. The blossom was growing on the tree. It is white. I (Mimi) took this picture of the yellow flowers. I (Evan) found this daisy first in the grass.

After that Mummy told us to be quick as we can to find sticks, little sticks and big sticks.
