Onto the next stage

The last couple of months have been a pretty exhausting emotional roller-coaster ride (hence v little blogging) and now that we have decided to leave our lovely friends here in Ramsdorf earlier than planned ,to continue our journey, I kind of feel like we're about to jump off one rollercoaster onto another (albeit a very different one).

To summarise, these are our plans for the next year or so:

• Leave Ramsdorf late April
• Travel in various guises over the summer (with a YWAM outreach team in Eastern Europe, with old friends around the Baltic sea and then travel south to participate in the Glasnost summer mission to Ohrid) - although all these trips will be different the purpose will remain the same: prayer, pilgrimage, mission, connecting and encouraging
• Return to the UK in September for a few months to prepare for going back to Macedonia early next year for the longer-term

While we've been here in Ramsdorf it has really helped us clarify what God has called us to and there are a few key things to share:

1. That we are still to be 'mobile' - although we may be somewhere specific for a longer period of time, we will retain our mobility to enable us to serve and bless where needed, to visit and cross-pollinate communities with stories of encouragement and to continue to reach out prayerfully to new places and communities, learning from them and from pilgrimages.
2. That Europe is the place for us for the foreseeable future. So although offers of America or Mexico may be tempting, this is the place God has placed on our hearts and we're sure God has lots for us to do here!
3. For the next few years we believe God is calling us to be based in the Balkans (primarily Macedonia) and part of this is still a vision for planting a Boiler Room in the 'thin place' that is Ohrid.

So we're on the move again. Much packing to be done, jobs to be finished and friends to say goodbye to...but such is the life we have! And we're looking forward to meeting new friends, starting new adventures and doing the occasional bit of unpacking!
